During World War II, over 2,260 people of Japanese ancestry were deported from their homes in Latin America to concentration camps in the U.S. The purpose of this action was to make these Japanese Latin Americans hostages in exchange for American citizens who were being detained in the Far Eastern War Zones. Hear their stories as a panel of speakers discuss their experiences, the ensuing events in their lives and the current class-action lawsuit filed last year against the U.S. government.
