Letters from Camp Exhibit Series Presentation and Video Screening

Speakers from the Day of Remembrance ad hoc committee of the National Coalition for Redress and Reparations present an “Evening of Remembrance” at the Museum. The 1988 film, Justice Now, Reparations Now by pioneering Asian American filmmaker Alan Kondo will be shown. This program takes place two days before the “Day of Remembrance” program at the Japan America Theater on Saturday, February 22.

The “Day of Remembrance” commemorates the signing on February 19, 1942 of Executive Order 9066, authorizing the mass evacuation and incarceration of all West Coast Japanese Americans in concentration camps. Free. Reservations required. Limited seating available.
