Akira Hirose, executive chef of the elegant Tower Restaurant on the 32nd floor of the Transamerica Building in Downtown Los Angeles, will give a demonstration in French cooking with an Asian twist. Chef Hirose studied the art of French cuisine in France for 8 years and opened his own restaurant in Kyoto. In 1992, Chef Hirose was selected by Esquire magazine as one of the top ten young chefs in the U.S. Learn the art of French cooking as Chef Hirose prepares seafood and appetizers. Members $5, non-members, $9 includes Museum admission. Reservations required by November 5. Limited seating available.
