Day of Remembrance

Day of Remembrance (DOR), the community's annual commemoration of President Franklin D. Roosevelt's signing of Executive Order 9066 and the World War II exclusion and incarceration of Japanese Americans and Japanese Latin Americans. The 2003 DOR marks the 61st anniversary of the signing of the Executive Order. The National Museum, Nikkei for Civil Rights and Redress (NCRR), the Pacific Southwest District JACL, and local community organizations will join together to commemorate the event.
