"finding family stories" UCLA Extension Course
Artists, curators, designers, and educators involved in finding family stories Arts Partnership Project share their experiences in this project initiated by the National Museum with the California African American Museum, the Chinese American Museum, and Self-Help Graphics & Art. In the first session of this two-day course, students participate in a guided tour of the exhibition and discussion with project staff at the Japanese American National Museum. Led by artist Dominique Moody, students in the second session visit the California African American Museum and participate in a special arts workshop. Enrollment is limited. Visitors are not permitted.
