*Entrance on 1st Street in front of the Japanese American National Museum & Lot 7.

The Cherry Blossom Festival Southern CA is a free admission event to the public produced by a Volunteer Team and located in the Little Tokyo district of downtown Los Angeles.

  • Main Stage - Live entertainment of Japanese Dancing, Taiko, Kimono Fashion Show – Authentic Japanese Wedding with Ceremonial Congratulatory Dance by Councilmember Jan Perry [Sat at 3pm], Teachers Making a Difference Awards, Senator Daniel Inouye Leadership Awards, George Kiriyama Educational Excellence Award presented to Richard Katsuda [Award ceremonies Sat at 12:30 pm], Cherry Blossom “Best in Festival Most Photogenic Dog Contest” and variety of performances in dance, song and music.

  • Kids Activity – Cultural Crafts and Inflatable Games.

  • Hawaiian Village – Hawaiian stage entertainment and Hawaiian crafters and exhibitors.

  • Cultural Pavillion includes: Photo Document Exhibit of WWII Internment Camps; Kimekomi Dolls

  • Demonstration & Exhibit; GO Board Game, Yamaguchi Kenjinka, Sashiko and Shibori Exhibits to name a few.

  • Martial Arts arena with non-stop performances including Sumo Wrestling.

  • Odori Dancing on 1st Street in front of the Japanese American National Museum on Sat. & Sun. 2:00 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. Everyone can join in and learn Odori Dancing in the Street!

  • Hand Crafters, Corporate and Commercial Vendors

  • Cherry Blossom Food Court
