Saturday–Sunday, August 16–17
Please note the time has been changed.
The Japanese tea ceremony (chanoyu or sado) is a highly choreographed ritual of preparing and serving green tea (matcha) with traditional sweets to balance the bitter taste of the tea.
The featured ceremony will be arai jakin and habuta (wet cloth and leaf lid). Performed only in the summer, this procedure is designed to provide cool entertainment that will make guests forget about the heat.
Each seating is limited to 160 participants and will be on a first come, first served basis; no RSVPs accepted. Arrive early to reserve your spot!
