After a brief talk on the connection between Sanrio and Japan’s silk industry, Shibori Girl (Glennis Dolce) will lead participants in a one-day workshop designing and dyeing a stitched shibori piece on vintage silk kimono lining fabric.

$36 members, $45 non-members, plus $20 materials fee due to instructor at beginning of class (cash only). Museum admission included. Bring rubber gloves, sewing pins, and scissors. Limited to 20 participants.
