About the Event

In this immersive experience, get transported back to the 1940s with actor Kurt Sanchez Kanazawa, the voice of Stanley Hayami in A Life in Pieces, as he reads aloud from the letters and diaries of Stanley. Diary entries and letters will be selected from his time during the winter holidays in the Heart Mountain concentration camp and the 442nd Regimental Combat Team.

Please note there will be three similar readings per day, each lasting around 20 minutes. RSVPs are recommended, limited walk-in availability.

Museum admission must be purchased seperately. Please check-in with Visitor Services at the front desk before the event.

ALL VISITORS age 12 and older will need to show proof of full vaccination or a negative antigen or PCR Covid-19 test taken within 72 hours prior to visiting the museum. Proof of vaccination or negative test may be in a paper or digital format, PLUS a photo ID. The vaccine requirement does not apply to children under 12.  LEARN MORE
