Cold Tofu Improv: Tofu Builds Character

Join us at the Japanese American National Museum as Cold Tofu, the talented multicultural comedy improv group, has fun recalling their most memorable characters! This free performance will be held on Thursday, April 30, 1998 from 7:30 p.m.–8:30 p.m. at the Museum, located on 369 East First Street in the Little Tokyo Historic District of Los Angeles. Call (213) 625-0414 for your reservations today!

“The focus of this show is going to be strictly on character work,” said Robert Covarrubias, co-artistic director and actor in Cold Tofu. “We are going to dig into our bag of characters and put them up on stage. We will even take character traits from people in the audience and perform those as well! It’s sure to be an entertaining evening with a cornucopia of characters!”

This night of cool characters with Cold Tofu is made possible in part by a grant from the City of Los Angeles, Cultural Affairs Department.
