FAQs
Does the session include a tour of the museum galleries?
History Unpacked utilizes a presentation that highlights the artifacts found within JANM’s galleries, but does not take participants through the physical museum space.
Are you able to send us attendance information?
Yes, upon request we can send a list of attendees after the session has concluded. Please note that this information only includes a user’s name and the time they entered and left the session, but not their email address or contact information.
Are there other virtual options available for adult groups who are interested in learning about Japanese American history?
For groups who are not looking for a session centered around DEIA content, we currently offer our 1 hour Virtual Visits for college/adults/seniors that provides a more general overview of the Japanese American experience. The optional 20 minute first-person perspective add-on can also be booked for this type of virtual visit.
Are there membership opportunities?
We have membership opportunities at many levels. For more information, please check out our membership opportunities online or you can email membership@janm.org and someone from our Membership team will get in touch with you.
