Let’s Discuss: Planning for the 2024 Civic Season

Nia Mosby from Made By Us and James Herr and Sofia Alvarez from the Daniel K. Inouye National Center for the Preservation of Democracy invite you to join an informal, facilitated virtual gathering of staff and leaders from museums and nonpartisan civic organizations in the LA County Region to discuss plans for the 2024 Civic Season including:

  • What are the ways your organizations can plug in during Civic Season?
  • What are the opportunities for collaboration among not only your organizations but community organizations as well?
  • How can your organizations include a youth voice in your Civic Season planning and programming?

Civic Season (Juneteenth–July 4) is an initiative by Made By Us and 500 renowned cultural, community, and educational organizations nationwide. The 2024 Civic Season brings us one moment closer to the US’s 250th anniversary in 2026. By creating opportunities to collaborate with one another during Civic Season we build greater capacity for our institutions as we move towards this milestone.
