Arts & Climate CA Roundtable

The Democracy Center and Arts & Climate CA presents a roundtable discussion and presentation on Arts & Climate CA’s findings from their recent research on the needs of artists and frontline cultural organizations related to climate change, and plans to assess the needs of Los Angeles County.

On the morning of March 28, the Democracy Center will present the Smithsonian's National Conversation on Race featuring a keynote address and panel discussion with Professor Anna Kennedy-Borissow from the University of Melbourne. This afternoon event is an opportunity to get to know Professor Kennedy-Borissow, her work on utilizing the arts in equitable recovery efforts from natural disasters, and how Los Angeles can use those models in its recovery initiatives.
