Featuring: Russell Leong, Jeff T. Masuda, Reena Sharma, and Irene Suico Soriano
Four Los Angeles-based Asian American writers who have appeared in various publications by the New York-based Asian American Writer’s Workshop will be featured. Russell Leong has contributed to numberous anthologies and is currently writing a book of short stories, Phoenix Eyes. Jeff T. Masuda is a former journalist and is currently writing a novel, Black Sheep, about five Asian American boys in West Los Angeles. Irene Suico Soriano who curated the successful “Wrestling Tigers: Asian American Writers Speak” series at the Museum will read from her writings.
