To All Relations: Memories of Boyle Heights
From swing to hip-hop, from tamales to knishes, from Dia de los Muertos to Obon, Boyle Heights is one of the most significant neighborhoods in the history of Los Angeles. Join Great Leap for performances that celebrate the history and diversity of this unique place.
Created during the To All Relations: Memories of Boyle Heights residency project, the performances will use storytelling, theater, music, song, and dance to highlight the stories, perceptions, and memories of Boyle Heights residents, past and present. Performed within the exhibition, Boyle Heights: The Power of Place, the performances will feature Great Leap artists, community members, and guest musicians.
