A staged reading of one of the winners of the East West Players Writer's Gallery GOT LAUGHS! playwriting contest, a nationwide competition to find the funniest voice in Asian Pacific America. The contest was the result of a yearlong search for comedic full-length plays, musicals, or solo pieces with predominantly Asian Pacific casts and/or themes, and part of a three-year, $200,000 grant from The James Irvine Foundation.
