With a story far more complex than that conveyed by the headlines, Iva Toguri D'Aguino (1916-2006) was maligned and imprisoned only to be exonerated and pardoned later in life. In a new play written by Glenn Conner-Johnson, acclaimed actress, Momo Yashima, portrays the erroneously identified "Tokyo Rose" whose actions still resonate in this time of "unlawful enemy combatants" and heated debates about habeas corpus.
