Celebrate the season at our Autumn-themed Target Day!

SCHEDULE:

11AM – 2PM: Kidding Around the Kitchen is pleased to help welcome Awesome Autumn with a fabulous make-it-yourself Festive Fall Salad using the best that the fall harvest has to offer.

11AM - 3PM: Calling all comic book readers! Come relax and read in our Comic Book Lounge in celebration of the Marvels and Monsters exhibition.

1:30PM & 2:30PM: Want to bang on a drum? Join in on an energetic drum circle! Fit for all ages and no experience necessary!

3PM: Join us for a reading of Thanksgiving at Obaachan's with author Janet Mitsui Brown. Then stick around to decorate your own furoshiki (wrapping cloth) complete with your own mini omanju (traditional confection) to snack on!


ALL DAY ACTIVITIES:

• Make a tissue paper leaf window decoration to welcome fall.
• Whoo whoo wants to come construct a fun owl?
• Color a Veterans Day related coloring page with Go For Broke. Don't forget to check out their other Veterans Day activities at their monument just outside the National Museum!
• Ruthie's Origami Corner: Fold a maple leaf with Ruthie and make it into a bookmark.
• Jump and bounce around in the camo-print bounce house in honor of Veterans Day.

Veterans Day with Go For Broke
Visit Go For Broke at their Monument, from 11AM to 3PM, just outside of the National Museum this Veterans Day weekend!

SCHEDULE:

• 11:00AM – 3:00PM: Japanese American WWII veterans will sign their baseball cards
• 11:00AM – 3:00PM: Crafts and other fun activities, such as bracelet making and word challenges
• 11:00AM – 3:00PM: WWII coloring pages and Go For Broke merchandise for sale inside the National Museum
• 11:30AM – 1:30PM: Caricaturist
• 1:00PM – 1:30PM: Scavenger hunt
