Join us for an all-day homecoming celebration at Go For Broke’s new headquarters in JANM’s Historic Building, located across the plaza from the Pavilion. Featured will be the debut of their groundbreaking new interactive exhibition, The Defining Courage Experience, which uses the experiences of Japanese American soldiers of World War II as a catalyst to discuss contemporary issues affecting Americans today. The exhibition addresses issues of citizenship, courage, tolerance, and empathy using participatory and hands-on exhibits.

The festivities will begin with a tribute at the historic Go For Broke Monument and a ribbon cutting at the new facilities. The celebration will continue in the center and on the plaza with family-friendly activities, food, music, and programs, including several short films that tell the veterans’ amazing story.
