Bring your photographs and documents related to Japanese American car culture for scanning as part of the research behind JANM’s summer/fall 2025 exhibition, Cruising J-Town: Nikkei Car Culture in Southern California. When registering, please select your preferred time slot.

We are especially looking for items related to:

• Drag racing culture of the 1950s–’70s
• The Nisei Week Cruise in the 1970s and ’80s
• Import car racing/culture of the 1970s–2000s
• Photographs of people with work vehicles (gardening trucks, fish trucks, delivery trucks) or photos at work (car dealerships, gas stations, garages, etc.)
• Personal and family photos in front of cars, trucks, and more from the 1990s to present
