"Three Lives"
Three Lives is a solo performance piece by Alex Luu which tells the autobiographical tale of the author’s journey to manhood from a harrowing escape from Saigon as a refugee, the comical and painful phases of assimilation in America as an adolescent, and finally to adulthood where traditional culture and unbridled individuality collide.
Alex Luu is an independent filmmaker, performer, writer and teacher who performed in the 1994 Museum show Everything You Ever Wanted to Know About Asian Men. Suitable for all ages (some adult language). Members $5, non-member $9 includes Museum admission. Reservations required. Limited seating available.
