CAPE, the Coalition of Asian Pacifics in Entertainment, is pleased to announce its 2009 Entertainment Industry and Membership mixer featuring Giant Robot magazine founder and publisher, Eric Nakamura. Open to CAPE members and the general public, the event includes Nakamura and a VIP guest moderator leading a casual discussion about Nakamura’s pioneering career, anticipating and shaping Asian American pop culture. Giant Robot put the spotlight on Asian actors, film directors, cultural icons and artists years before they were in mainstream America's vocabulary. Following the discussion and Q&A, will be a CAPE membership and entertainment industry mixer. Catering is complimentary with cash bar, only $2 per drink.
